The Registered Auditors' Association of Nepal (AUDAN) serves as the sole common umbrella organization for all Registered Auditors (RAs) across the nation. Registered Auditors (RAs) were the only professionals authorized to audit companies and businesses in Nepal until the enactment of the Nepal Chartered Accountants Act in 1997. This Act introduced a new regulatory framework that categorized audit practitioners into two groups: Registered Auditors and Chartered Accountants, establishing clear distinctions in qualifications and practice.
AUDAN provides a unified and organized platform where members can voice their concerns and direct them to the appropriate authorities for proper attention and resolution. We firmly believe in the strength of unity together, we safeguard the rights of our members while promoting their professional growth.
To address issues related to the protection of rights and professional enrichment, AUDAN has established a structured mechanism that reaches members in all districts of Nepal. Every concern raised by auditors is handled with accountability and transparency, ensuring their voices are heard and their issues are resolved effectively. Through this systematic approach, AUDAN provides a reliable and impactful pathway for auditors to address challenges and advocate for positive change in the national auditing community.
AUDAN is also committed to the professional advancement of its members through various training programs and skill-building initiatives, empowering them to meet evolving standards and contribute meaningfully to the integrity and transparency of Nepal’s financial systems.
